I'm also seeing this behavior using FF on Windows 7 and with Safari on OS X.

Subject: [Tech] CSpace-FAIL: Nightly, development stacks unusable with current code

If any of you on the To: list can take a look at the checked in code (or look on nightly) and try to figure out what is broken, that would be great. I have reverted the app and UI on my system to 1.8, so at least I can get some services development done. Unfortunately, I cannot proceed with any work on reporting and batch UI, which is frustrating.

CSpace-FAIL: Nightly, development stacks unusable with current co

Hi Patrick,

As I mentioned at stand up there is some integration work that needs to be done for 1.9 and is captured in several blocker JIRAs that Yura opened. It's possible that you've found some new issues and I will look into this, however, I would not expect the trunk to work full stack until those JIRA issues are resolved.

You should still be able to work on the UI for reporting and batch since working on the UI is decoupled from working on a full stack. You can simply open the administration.html file in your web browser to test the UI from your local file system. You might need to modify your config in FF to turn off the strict origin policy.

Hope this helps,

Michelle

Thanks Michelle -

I have done little UI dev work without the stack, but I will take a look at that. For the stuff I am doing, the UI part tends to be pretty simple and what I really need to get right is the integration top to bottom. Nevertheless, the local debug model sounds promising.

Patrick
